to make your own connectors.
These tables are to make 10
connectors; adjust your numbers accordingly.
I added some extra terminals
to allow for goofups.
I have received the front panel
parts and the crimper. They are
correct. The crimper is really easy to
use.
I won’t be making any power supply adapters due to the 150 minimum part requirement for the plug housing. Maybe someone else would like to take over and build some.
Basically, you need:
For the power connectors:
1 20-place female receptacle housing Note: These have an expected ship date of Feb 20.
1 20-place male plug housing Note: These require a 150-part minimum order.
20 each, male and female terminals
˝ of the AT power extender cable
For the front panel connections:
3 of the 2-place fittings
1 of the 3-place fittings (most motherboards’ power LED fittings are a 3-place)
8 female terminals for these
1 eight or 14-place, double row housing to mate with your Dell ribbon connector
8 or 13 pin terminals to go in the housing.
